ReplyDeleteany time is the best. In the southern states during these months, it's great beach weather. Up north, this is the wet season, and very humid, but the Top End is beautifully green. From June until August, things cool down. This is a good time to visit Queensland or the outback and skiers head to the ski fields of NSW and Victoria. Cardiff Airport
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking about taking a road trip. Seems like a simple way to break out of the routine without breaking the budget.
ReplyDeleteOf course, this is simply a guide based on weather. There are several reasons to visit Southeast Asia year round, for religious and cultural festivals such as the Ice Lantern Festival in Harbin, China, where from January to February the excess snow and ice are carved into exquisite sculptures and life-size temples.

ReplyDeleteIndeed it is a great time to travel, I actually volunteered for redundancy in my job to do exactly that. It’s nice to see alternative reasons for travelling though as a option away from the usual career driven.
ReplyDeleteCareer driven people are usually boring I find too, and can’t contribute to much more then discussions on their own careers.
