Foods that contain antioxidants, free radical fighter, so far believed to protect the body from cancer hazard. One of the potentially cancer-fighting fruit is strawberries.
Research conducted in China showed that people at high risk of esophageal cancer are able to avoid the disease after a routine eating strawberry fruit extracts.
Researchers examined the benefits of strawberries in humans after animal research in the laboratory experiments showed that fruit tastes sour and fresh it has anti-cancer benefits.
In many cases, esophageal cancer develops from precancerous lesions, ranging from mild, moderate and most severe stage. Of the 36 participants who ate the strawberry powder for 6 months, 29 people have improved staging, for example of the scale are becoming lighter.
"The results of this study are very encouraging because strawberries shown to reduce the histology of precancerous lesions and reduce the rate of cell division of cancer cells and inflammatory".
But researchers do not advocate strawberries rush to fight cancer. Required large-scale studies, more rigorous, and involves varying the number of respondents needed to determine whether it is effective in preventing cancer strawberries or placebo.
